Cosmetology Program

Licensed cosmetologists, estheticians, and manicurists have an abundance of career opportunities. Our institute prepares all graduates for the licensing exam and entry-level positions in hair studios, spa salons and destination spas.

In order to become licensed in Cosmetology in Arkansas, students must complete 1,500 hours of approved training, graduate from an approved school, and pass the written and practical state exam. Our training program meets the Arkansas State Standards and includes theory, practical instruction that prepares the student to perform hair, skin and nail services on the public.

Think Beyond the Chair

Our cosmetology curriculum is designed to inspire students to think “beyond the chair” and to pursue opportunities in salons and spas. Our cosmetology program can teach you how to create current hair and makeup trends as well as classic looks that will never go out of style. You’ll be able to practice and grow these skills in our student salon and spa, giving you the real-world experience you need in order to be successful in the industry.

Students move from classroom instruction to clinic (hands-on) instruction, where practical knowledge is applied to a large client base.

Graduates from this program receive any certifications earned during the course of the program.
