With more than four decades of industry experience, Adam Casteel is the Founder, CEO and Lead Educator for YLF Cosmetology Institute. He is also the owner of the esteemed You Look Fabulous Salon in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

For the first 13 years of his career, Adam was certified as a Framesi Hair Color Technician, educating his peers in the art of Italian hair coloring throughout the South. Adam also regularly attends the Toni & Guy academy in Dallas, Texas, the fashion trend-setting hair company based out of London, England. Adam has authored the book, 5 Steps to Fabulous Color, and has sold several thousand copies to assist his peers in performing the best hair color services in the cosmetology industry.

Recognizing the need for real-world, immersive cosmetology training in Hot Springs and the region, Adam founded the YLF Cosmetology Institute in 2024. The venture represents his passion for mentoring and empowering the next generation of cosmetologists, estheticians, and nail technicians. The institute was built on Adam’s passion and is dedicated to providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to build strong, thriving businesses and brands.

Connie Watson brings 43 years of industry experience and 10 years of teaching to YLF Cosmetology Institute. Her career has spanned multiple states, and she has attended major hair shows in St. Louis, Chicago, Houston, San Antonio, and Las Vegas to stay updated on the latest trends. Connie holds certifications from the All-Nutrient American Institute of Hair Color, as a National Color Technician, and as a Color Specialist in various collections. Her passion for cosmetology inspired her to take what she learned behind the chair and share it in the classroom. Connie loves sharing her expertise on the latest trends and techniques with aspiring stylists, estheticians, and nail technicians.
